Based on the client’s concept sketch, we provided material suggestions using easily accessible paper streamers and green spray paint to match the visual tone. The key highlight was the inclusion of two small bamboo shoots, as specified by international brand guidelines. These were crafted using cylindrical styrofoam cores, hand-wrapped in three layers of art paper.
Our specialist Pei used foam sheets to create dimensional spacing between layers, and left the outer layer unsealed so clients could adjust the angles onsite.
During installation, the paper streamers—embedded with wire—required flexible handling to present graceful curves, all while complying with the spatial and regulation constraints of the Eslite bookstore window. Simple materials were transformed into a display with elegant layers and dynamic depth.
